GENTRY — Mark Barnes, of Jackson, Tenn., Steve and Sherry Coursey, and James and Barbara Whisenant of Gentry, announce the wedding of their children, Cynthia Barnes and John Whisenant.

The couple exchanged vows Aug. 9, 2009, at Siloam Springs City Lake, with Jim Whisenant, the father of the groom, officiating at the double-ring ceremony.

A small reception was held at the First Christian Church of Gentry.

The couple, with their son Rhett, plans to make their home near Beaver Lake.
